AIRCRETE (aerated autoclaved concrete) - general information

In the 21st century only these solutions which ensure appropriate quality and measurable economical benefits will deserve attention in every technical branch. This tendency concerns also building materials, and in particular, wall materials.

Aerated autoclaved concrete produced by H+H POLSKA  is a new generation building material having unique properties which is known and generally appreciated on the market. The best properties of the oldest building materials, i.e. stone and wood, were connected in them.

Aerated autoclaved concrete is a durable material and very light; it does not age. Thanks to the large contents of air bubbles it has very good thermal insulation. It keeps constant air humidity inside the rooms.
It connects qualities of wood, being free from its drawbacks at the same time (it does not decay and it is non-combustible). Aerated autoclaved concrete blocks can be treated in any way, they can be drilled, sawn, cut and grooved for installation. Simultaneously, its durability is so high that it can transfer load of multi-storey building structure.

Aircrete production
Aircrete is a material produced of resources which appear in large quantities in natural environment. Its production consists first of all of: quartz sand, lime, cement, water and leavening agent. Just thanks to these materials, H+H aerated autoclaved concrete is the environment friendly material. The usage of adhesive consisting of lime and cement which are added in similar proportions and usage of powdered aluminium as a leavening agent turned to be an optimal solution in the space of the years.

Protection of natural material resources
To produce one m3 of aerated autoclaved concrete it is necessary to use 0,2-0,3 m3 of raw materials, depending on the applied receipt.
In case of production of the most used aerated autoclaved concrete of PP2 type of 0.4 kg/dm3  density -   1 m3 of raw materials allow to achieve 5 m3 of ready building material.
It is a result which will not be achieved by producers of other building constructional building materials for a long time.

Aircrete is an environment friendly material
The production of aerated autoclaved concrete is carried out using water vapour produced basing on small energy input. During a production cycle it is not necessary to be worried about wastes. Water which appears during vapour hardening is re-introduced into the production in a close circulation. Additionally, production surpluses of already hardened aerated autoclaved concrete can be re-used in the production cycle as raw material of full value. Both, H+H aerated autoclaved concrete and light adhesives, necessary in case of its use, do not contain or emit toxic substances.

Considered ecological solutions:

  • almost non-depletable and economically exploited resources,
  • energy-saving production not onerous to the environment,
  • safety treatment and building,
  • small amount of wastes; there is the possibility of recycling,
  • hive thermal energy saving what contributes to significant limitation
    of CO2 emission,
  • permanent quality of a building and high comfort of living.
